Coastal Cruising is an intermediate sailing course designed for those who have completed Basic Sailing, or those with equivalent experience. The goal of the Coastal Cruising course is to prepare the student to cruise safely in local and regional waters as skipper or crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat up to 30′ in length in moderate wind and sea conditions. Chart reading, plotting and coastal navigation skills are taught during this course.
12 hours broken up into 3 four-hour lessons scheduled at your convenience. Our sailing lessons depart from Pier 25 Marina in Tribeca.
